Tee Martin has always had a reputation as one of the best recruiters in the country. He was by far the best recruiter on Joker Phillips’ staff while at UK, and has been the lead recruiter in bringing several 5-star prospects to his current school—USC . Now the former Kentucky coach is going after a player that might be the most unique recruit he’s ever pursued–Cordell Broadus–the son of the world famous rapper Snoop Dogg.
Nope, it’s not a publicity stunt, the kid can play. He’s rated the 8th best wide-receiver in the nation for the 2015 class, and the 80th best player overall. Tennessee and LSU have both offered Broadus a scholarship, but they’re probably on the outside looking in when it comes to landing him because of Snoop Dogg’s love for USC.
Tee Martin of course, led Tennessee to a national title in 1998 as quarterback for the Volunteers, and was one of the most well-liked coaches on Joker’s staff in the 2 years that he was in Lexington.
